Temp Community Swim Fall Location

The Big Lake Community League board has signed an agreement with the City to extend our temporary community swimming with the Kinsmen Sport Centre at 9100 Walterdale Hill. This agreement is set for the remainder of 2026. If the Peter Hemmingway Aquatic Centre reopens ahead of time, we will let our members know.

Because of the new location, members are temporarily able to enjoy the Kinsmen Sport Centre's training pool and fitness centre on Saturdays from 5-7pm.

At this time, this agreement will run for the rest of the year; however, there are three Saturdays that the training pool will not be available to members:

When the Peter Hemmingway Aquatic Centre reopens, our previous agreement will be reinstated for swimming at the Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre (11160 135 Street NW, Edmonton).
