Children & Youth Soccer

The Edmonton West Zone Soccer Association (EMSA West) is part of the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association (EMSA Main) and is sanctioned by Alberta Soccer.

They provide community and club programs that instil a lifelong passion and love of the game in all youth, regardless of gender, race, age or skill level.

​

Programs are available for children and youth aged U4 to U19. ​

​

*Community memberships are mandatory to sign up with EMSA!

Outdoor Soccer Season

If you have a little one who would love to join the Big Lake soccer team in the spring, consider signing up for the EMSA outdoor spring season!

 

Registration opens up in February, so stay tuned! ​

​

The regular season runs from May through to the end of June. ​

 

Indoor Soccer Season

The indoor soccer season has already started, so please consider joining the Big Lake indoor soccer team in Fall 2026.

 

Registration for indoor soccer begins in the summer with a deadline in early September.

Parents - consider volunteering as a coach or assistant coach!

EMSA is always looking for volunteer coaches and assistant coaches. Don't worry, they provide training at no cost. ​Please consider this opportunity, as some teams don't get to play because they don't have a coach. ​
